Hello out there in blogland! For those that don’t know me (all of you, probably?), my name is Brad. Pleasure to meet you and all that.

I recently received an offer from my employer (the U.S. Gov’t, no less) to use one of the language learning software licenses it had bought for a language of my choice, and I decided to give it a go. I’ve been working on learning Hebrew (they did let me choose . . .) for about a month now, and I decided to start this blog as a sort of online diary of my progress. In addition to talking about what I’ve been doing to this end, I plan on putting together reviews of the various materials that I have been using.
